Visual Arts is an umbrella of visually perceptive arts include but are not limited to drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textile, and media arts. Everywhere one looks there most likely is some shape or form of visual arts. Art is beneficial because it give everyone the opportunity to express themselves visually. In schools it can use as a learning medium, creative outlet, and stress reliever. Children can create art before they can even read or write through scribbles. Visual arts is a creative process that allows the artist to use his or her imagination as a creative engine. By the blending of constructionism and constructivism there is no limit to where art can go!

Molly BangInstead of students writing a story invite them to use the Molly Bang method to illustrate a part of the story. This method has student illustrate a story, movie, or fable using geometric and non-geometric shape and only four colors.

Nature ToolsPaint brushes, markers, and pencils are useful tools to write with it. To mix it up, use sticks and leaves or grass to practice writing the alphabet or painting a scene from a book.
